About Us
Guadalupe Project began in the fall of 2013 as a vague idea of a pro-life presence in local communities. Since that time, Guadalupe Project has served over 150 different families, aiming to fulfill Guadalupe Project's short term, long term, and constant goal to build a culture where all life, from conception to natural death, is nurtured, protected, and valued. Guadalupe Project operates as an authentically Catholic group, with each decision being weighed in light of Catholic teaching and the words of Pope St. John Paul II and Our Lady of Guadalupe. Guadalupe Project aims to treat each person in accord with their inherent dignity and value as a child of God, which does not depend on the circumstances, social status, or personal choices of any individual.
Guadalupe Project's first program opened in June of 2015, providing diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, lotions, baby bath, towels, washcloths, bibs, bottles, baby food, toys, books and other items to young families who could use a helping hand. Guadalupe Project also provides support to expectant mothers, providing care packages, comfort items, and maternity clothes. Guadalupe Project has three main service categories for children: birth-1 year, 1 year-2 1/2 years, and 2 1/2 to 4 years. Please check our Facebook page and local media for the upcoming dates, locations, and times.
More than a source for material assistance, Guadalupe Project is a resource for any young family. We welcome contributions from all young families, as they can donate outgrown or unused baby items, while also picking up the items they need for their child. Guadalupe Project also provides access to educational materials, a prayer network and spiritual support, care packages and support for families that have suffered a miscarriage, and access to healing and recovery programs for women suffering after an abortion.
Guadalupe Project has many more services and programs planned for the future. However, the realization of these services and programs depends on your support, generosity, and prayers. Guadalupe Project is always in need of donations, whether monetary donations or item donations. We accept in-kind donations of new or gently used items.
